Lots and lots

Wow, we have done so many things since my last blog. Our internet has been slow so it is hard to download photos when that happens.
Below are some photos of Santiago. I got my photo taken with a mime all dressed in white. She was a street performer. We also visited a museum that had cool artifacts. I liked the gold jewellery and the feather headdresses the best. They even had child mummies. They freak me out.

We went to a park which was an area where they have discovered dinosaur fossils. We saw this cool rock formation that looked like pinocchio, and these balls of rock that were made from pressure in the earth. There were also fossils there like this one of a leaf. At another museum we saw petroglyphs just like the ones in New Mexico. The holes in the rock were holes used to grind things like wheat and corn. The inca, the ancient people would use stones to grind the wheat.

Here are some photos of the animals we have seen. Vicunas are like lamas, only smaller. We have seen alot of foxes and lamas runing wild in different areas. We visited a goat farm where they made goats cheese, and we got to pat the goats. We have also seen a lot of flamingos in the wild too. They live on the lakes. We got to see 3 different types.

Here I am sniffing the flowers in Cafayate. I like to pick them all the time. My Mum and Dad allow me to pick one flower a day, so there can still be some left for other people to enjoy. In the other photo, I am with my friend Laura and we are making a potion. I hope one day to make a potion that will turn the world into chocolate ice cream!

These photos are taken in the desert of Argentina. This cactus looked so furry and soft but it was really prickly. We saw lots of chilli peppers drying just like in New Mexico. Everywhere I go I try out the slides at the playgrounds, and I make friends with the local kids. Below is a photo of my friends in Tilcara.

These photos are from San Pedro area in Chile. We met an Aussie family and I played with Edward and Nina. Edward and I are looking for brine shrimp in a pool of water. When we were in San Pedro it snowed in the mountains. I collected snow off our friends vehicle. The last photo is of me in our roof top tent.

Here are some photos of the salt lake. We had so much fun doing funny photos. I met some great local girls to play with. Hope you like all the photos. I pick the photos out and Mum helps me write about them.
By the way, I am still working on my goal of eating chocolate in every country!

Wow Keira! You are having so much fun! I wish I was there with you to see all these fantastic things. And to eat chocolate, which is always more fun to do with friends.
I see lots of dog pictures. Looks like you're making a lot of animal friends too. Yoyo will be so happy when you are back and can play ball with her. She's still very good at jumping and catching the ball in the air.
We are doing well here. Tom broke a tooth but he's getting it fixed so that's OK.
We're all keeping busy working in the yard. There's been lots of rain so the weeds are very happy. :\
Give your mum and dad hugs for us.
Love, Rizzybeth

Hi Keira! The places you have been look very colorful. I miss you a lot and am happy that you are having a good time.
School just ended here and I'm going into 5th grade at Monte Vista Elementary School. Jacob is going into 7th grade at Jefferson Middle School.
The other day a dog followed Jacob and Bobby Frapples back home from the ditch. He was white with black spots and had one light brown eye and one light blue eye.
The rock formation you saw really does look like Pinochio. The fossils you found are also amazing. I am glad that you have made new friends and are as creative as ever.

Love,
Zoe <3
P.S. If you made a potion that could turn the world into chocolate ice cream, I would be very happy

KeiraBean!
Oh my goodness you've gotten so big! How has it been being on the road? What are the best foods you've eaten? Out of all of the countries you've been to, which one had the best chocolate?

Thank you for sharing your stories! I can't wait to smooch your big cheeks when you get back!

So much love,
Lissie

Hi Keira! It's been too long since I saw you in person (which means you need to come back!). You are so lucky that you get to go on this trip with your parents. Keep posting what you do! I love it that we can read what you have been doing! Keep likeing chocolate!
